A tribute to Mickaella de Fátima Medeiros Dantas
It is with immense sadness that Candoco receives the information that former company dancer and dance artist, Mickaella Dantas has passed away peacefully on the 10th of February 2024 with her parents by her side, after a long battle against cancer. Through Mickaella's hard work and sincere dedication to the art of dance, she has left a long and continuous impression in the company and beyond, where she will be greatly missed.
A tribute to France Geoffroy
It is with great sadness and honestly, heartbreak, that I try to write down in words something to express the brilliance of my dear friend and beautiful dancer, France Geoffroy (1974-2021), who died peacefully on 30 April 2021, cocooned by her closest loved ones.
Remembering France Geoffroy (22nd April 1974 – 30th April 2021)
It is with deep sadness that Candoco announces the death of France Geoffroy, disabled dance artist, activist and Founder and Artistic co-Director of Corpuscule Danse in Quebec, Canada. She passed away peacefully on 30th April 2021 and we are relieved to hear that she was with her husband and closest friends at the time.
