The Human Suite
By Stephen Petronio
2003
The Human Suite by maverick U.S. choreographer Stephen Petronio is daring, bold and sensual.
Set to the captivating strings of Tartini’s The Devil’s Sonata and punctuated by Johnny Cash’s intimate rendition of The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face, the dancing is physically demanding and precise. Dressed in Tarintino-esque white shirts and black ties Candoco’s dancers skilfully rise to the challenge with fervour.
Petronio’s sinuous, sensual way of moving is not to be missed.
