Our wide ranging national and international projects are easily programmed alongside the company's performances.

Projects allow participants to get an insight into the company’s professional work and choreographic process. They range from site specific performances with intergenerational casts to professional development for practicing artists. We deliver our projects through wide-ranging partnerships with organisations all over the world.

Projects

3-day Residency at The Moss Arts Center of Virginia Tech (USA)

At the end of October 2024, we’re heading to The Moss Arts Center of Virginia Tech (USA) for a 3-day residency led by Candoco Dance Company's Co-Artistic Director, Dominic Mitchell and Candoco Teaching Artist, Paulina Porwollik (21-23 October 2024).

10 Day Training Residency for No Limits 2025, Hong Kong

Candoco will facilitate a two-week residency (30 September - 11 October) in preparation for No Limits 2025 in Hong Kong tailored for performing and teaching artists, facilitators, makers, educators and others in the field.

Teachers Training at Elefantteateret, Norway

Candoco is excited to host a two-day Teachers Training, at Elefantteateret in Stavanger, Norway! Participants will have the opportunity to gain insight into our company's history and artistry while learning and engaging with our inclusive dance methodology and core principles.

Unify Dance Festival

We are thrilled to collaborate with Inspire Youth Arts, once again, and create a brand-new exciting dance piece which will be performed at Unify Festival 2024!

Funded by British Council's International Collaboration Grants, 3 x 3 is a creation project between partners Candoco Dance Company (UK), Arada Association (Turkey), and Unbeaten Path (Ukraine).

NYDC + Candoco Summer Residency

Following the success of the 2021 Summer School, National Youth Dance Company (NYDC) and Candoco Dance Company are once again working in partnership to bring you a week-long dance residency in August 2022.

Digital Artist Development Programme

Candoco Dance Company (UK) in partnership with Unbeaten Path (Ukraine) and Arada Association (Turkey) are embarking on a new International Digital Artist Development Programme in 2021 supported by the British Council’s Digital Collaboration Fund.
