ASOS + Candoco Training Intensive 2019

Nicola De Maine, ex-service woman and performer, writes about the importance of listening to create Muster, a brand new piece of work which was developed in just one week through a collaboration between Cando2, members of the cast of Charlie F and Shakespeare’s Soldiers, and boys from Caldicott School.

Candoco embarked on an exciting project with British Council Nigeria, aiming to support the development of a new work by a choreographer from Lagos. The inclusive work was performed by local dancers later in the year in Lagos. Company dancers Toke, Mirjam and Tanja and Artistic Co-Director Pedro visited earlier to get things started.
