My route into leadership came via performance: I performed professionally with Matthew Bourne's Adventures in Motion Pictures, ENO and at the Royal Opera House amongst others, before moving into teaching and then into the organisational side of the sector.

I was once told I’d never work in dance beyond performing because my vocational training meant I didn’t have a degree. I got a job at Sadler’s Wells soon after, and a degree a little while after that.

Arts can genuinely change lives and that belief has shaped everything I have done since. As CEO and Creative Director of Greenwich Dance I led the organisation through a period of reinvention, commissioning new work, building community partnerships and hosting the Talking Moves podcast.

Before Greenwich Dance, I was Creative Producer at Protein Dance and have held leadership roles at The Place, DanceEast and Shubbak, alongside freelance work with Alexander Whitley, ZooNation, Dance UK and Youth Dance England. I joined Candoco in September 2024.

Something you should know about me is…
