Lucie Mirkova
Head of Programme
Lucie is an arts manager, programmer and curator with over twenty years’ experience working in the dance and performance sector.
In her previous roles of Head of Artistic Programmes and Executive Producer at DanceXchange, Birmingham, she led the Performance and Artist Development programme including leading the programme and delivery of Birmingham International Dance Festival.
Lucie holds MA in Choreography from Academy of Performing Arts Prague and MA Arts Management and Policy from Birkbeck College in London. She completed The Clore Leadership short course and in addition to her role at Candoco she sits on the Board of Dancefest in Worcester and work as a freelancer.
As the new Head of Programme, Lucie will implement a programming strategy that aligns with Candoco’s vision, mission and values, and manage our producing teams, who work across: commissions, touring, artist development, learning and special projects.
