Stefania Di Paolo

Stefania is a PhD research scholar in Performance and Cultural Industries at the University of Leeds, a disability activist and a cultural curator. 

Her specialisation sits between dance studies and disability studies, in a bid to dismantle ableist hegemonies. Research topics of interest include how disabled embodiments offer epistemologies for activist and choreographic praxis, and how it relates to contemporary dance culture in Europe. She is based in Italy.
