Scunthorpe School Project
2017
An event at The Bath Halls featuring performances from surrounding schools, colleges, residents and Candoco Dance Company.
Presented by South Bank Dance and featured performances from schools, colleges in North and North East Lincolnshire. Pieces shown by Candoco were Beheld by Alexander Whitely with music composed by Nils Frahm and You And I Know, a duet choreographed by Arlene Phillips.
The event in June 2017 was a culmination of residency with local shops and colleges so featured performances from young people who had been working with the professional dancers of Candoco including Hugh’s Communication and Interaction College.
This was part of the South Bank Dance, a partnership of several organisations from the arts, sport, health and education sectors, led by Art Development at Linc Inspire Ltd and North Lincolnshire Council.
