Annie Edwards

Since graduating from London Contemporary Dance School, she has performed in the UK and internationally with ZooNation: The Kate Prince Company, Houston Dance Collective, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Botis Seva, Olive Hardy and many more. Most recently, she has co-founded Anhelo Collective, with whom she has choreographed and toured original work in London and Berlin.

She has also been developing her teaching practise and taught workshops for Gather Up, South East Dance and The Place. She maintains an ongoing engagement with disability advocacy and care throughout all her work.

She is interested in the unique potential of dance to empower and embody oneself, not only in a movement practise but also as a way to intimately embrace and encounter disability.
