In Person Adult Dance Class (Winter 2023 Term 1)
This class is suitable for beginners as well as those with more experience.
The focus of these sessions is to explore different movement practices led by Candoco’s Teaching Artists Caroline Lofthouse and Bel Eade.
Caroline (she/her) is an independent dance artist whose work encompasses teaching / facilitating, performing and choreographing. Her classes can be described as a mixed movement practice, drawing on elements of contemporary dance techniques, yoga and improvisation. She aims for an inclusive, person-centred approach which encourages you to move with care and attention for yourself and others in the space.
Bel (they/them) is a neurodiverse dance artist and behavioural support worker from South East London. Their movement practice prioritises individual needs and desires, incorporating dynamic improvisation, calming breath work, and rejuvenating restorative stretches; always with a focus on pleasure.
