We are very excited to be bringing You and I Know back to Barbican this March for not one, but two FREE lunchtime performances on Level G.
This 15-minute piece was our first collaboration with the trailblazing choreographer, Arlene Phillips. Our second being that performance on Strictly Come Dancing. Watch it here if you haven't seen it!
For this piece, Arlene Phillips collaborated with Candoco dancers Joel Brown and Laura Patay to make You and I Know, a modern romantic duet. Danced with passion and sensitivity to a collection of pop songs, this is a potent and emotive exploration of falling in and out of love over and over, often with the same person.
