Olivia Edginton

Olivia is a dance artist based in London. She originates from Edgworth, Lancashire, and studied at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance where she graduated with a BA in Contemporary Dance (2015) and an MA in Dance Performance (2016). Olivia is a former member of Transitions Dance Company (2015/2016) where she collaborated and created work with Dog Kennel Hill Project, Theo Clinkard and Ederson Rodriguez Xavier. Amongst others, Olivia has worked with dance makers Matthias Sperling, Anna Williams and was part of curatorial practice Panel with Ellen Van Schuylenburch.

Her solo work, atlas, was performed at the Institute of Contemporary Arts as part of interdisciplinary event Parallax 06 in 2015, and in the same year appeared as a performance fixture in visual arts exhibition Lost Forever at Gallery 223. Alongside sharing her work in the UK, Olivia has performed at platforms in Norway and Switzerland.

Olivia’s continued interest in the body as an archive and the artist as a collector has, and will continue to fuel, her creative practice.
