We work with and are supported by a number of exceptional partners including:

Candoco Dance Company and Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance are working in partnership to achieve improved progression routes and greater access for disabled people into the dance profession, and to advocate for the importance of inclusive practice in enhancing creative endeavour.

The two organisations are jointly implementing a comprehensive programme of activity in three key areas; Higher Education dance programmes (including undergraduate vocational training), Learning & Participation projects and the Theatre Programme. Specific activities include; mutual advisory roles for audition processes, youth-focused training and collaboration, public dialogue events, professional development, research, placement opportunities for Trinity Laban students and regular Candoco production development residencies and performances at the Laban Theatre.

Regular conversation on and interrogation of the aims and activities of the partnership ensures that our work remains relevant and useful, and allows new ideas and projects to emerge.

The partnership agreement between Candoco Dance Company and Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance will continue in our respective 2015-18 plans as Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisations.

The Place kindly supports Cando2, our youth dance company. Classes for 13 to 25 year olds take place on Tuesday evenings and provide young dancers with an opportunity to create high quality work with Candoco Artists and guest choreographers.
